It’s strange, with these types of songs I feel like it’s the gay part of me coming through. Although why should I define it as gay or not is something that should be questioned. Or even why I am concerned that it’s coming out.

Had an assignment to do which asked to select 5 of my best works and evaluate why I chose them. Every work I chose was photography based.

Reminded me that I actually love photography. I distanced myself from doing it because I didn’t want to become a photographer or major in that, but looking at the pictures I really do miss it. The moment where you capture that right picture, you just know instantly that you don’t even need to take anymore. Or just getting the right angle or lighting or expression it makes me feel happy.

Wish I had my own studio to take photo’s, but that would be just ridiculous.

Actually had to count what number the month we’re in right now, I get so lost on the order after July. I think that in itself says a lot of me…

I think this semester has been the most over thought experience of my life in terms of what I want out of it. It’s scary, it’s intense and it’s something just don’t want to deal with. I can’t hack that I’m so hopelessly unmotivated but yet some how I’m so passionate.

Maybe I’m getting confused with passion and dreams. I day dream so much, and make so many scenarios in my head that I would like to live out. And that’s just setting me up to be disappointed. The one that keeps appearing in my mind is a simple coffee and lunch date with my closest friends in Manhattan, pretty cliched… but why do I need to state that it’s cliched. I shouldn’t give a fuck. I know what I want and I know who I am. I shouldn’t be judged because I’m a cliche.

I might be working there, I might be flying down there or up there, who knows, but I know for sure I would be working over seas. And yet I know that I can’t deal with the emotional stress that comes with leaving people. I don’t know why I even think about this, I don’t even know if I have the drive to even be working over seas.

I’m trying to buckle down and do uni work properly this semester. Actually put proper effort in and designing with thought rather then just for the sake of it being an aesthetically pleasing piece. I want to try harder, because I know I can work hard, but it’s strange, do I actually know I can do this? I know who I am and what I want, but how do I go around doing it. Maybe it’s all fluff.

How I fucking hate self doubt. I need to close the “gap” between me and the me in my day dreams.
